Mr Lee Kuan Yew

I'm trying to translate whatever that's on my mind here so I'm trying my best. I guess today (23 March 2015) is going to be one of the saddest day for Singaporeans or even some non-Singaporeans around the world. Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed away in SGH at 3.18am, he was 91 years old. To be honest, how much do I know about him and his contributions? Maybe just 20%? But why do I know about him? It is because he is one of the Asia's greatest leaders who built Singapore from third world country to the first. If it wasn't for him, I don't think I am able to sit on this comfortable chair, typing this on blogger and publishing this post. I am really lucky to born in this generation which I am able to enjoy the good education system (though we always complain about the tough student life), to be able to speak and read English language as well as our mother-tougue, to enjoy the clean water coming from the tap (though we might complain it isn't warm enough to bathe), to enjoy the shelter over me and many more. He might be one of the strictest leaders but without him, we might still be living in slumps. His passing is indeed our loss and I hope there can be someone who can lead Singapore as well as he does. Yes, he might left us but he is in the arms of God and his legacy will live forever.

He was a true giant of history.
